Full-time Tower Rigger -Lead Hand

Tower Rigger -Lead Hand 

Full-time -44 +hours/week  

Wages $28.00/hour


-Managing top end aerial construction Crews

-Managing site safety,

-Erecting communication towers

-Installing and aligning antennas, transmisison lines, hangers, communication equipment and tower grounding  

-climbing and servicing telecommunication towers at heights up to 200 meters(650 feet) 

Required Skills: 

-2-3  years expereince as a telecom rigger preferred

-Must have Experience and be comfortable with working at heights  up to 200 meters(650 feet) 

-Experience to identify all hazards, select cables, ropes, blocks and tackle by weight and size of load to be moved as per project requirements

-Working knowledge in fall protection practices and procedures and tower life saving techniques required

-Expereince in stacking monolipoles and erecting towers. Proven track record managing required manpower and equipmemt on site including, powered winch, man-lift, tele-handler and crew-cab.

-Able to perform heavy lifting

-Able to travel and stay on the road for extended periods up to 8 weeks. 

Training for right candidate to be provided in First Aid , WHMIS, Fall Protection, High Angle Rescue, Ontario Working at Heights, and Man-lift ,
