Salus Marine Wear is a manufacturer of Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs). Everyday we interact with sailors, paddlers and water enthusiasts of all genres and ages. Comfort, style, function and attention to detail are all part of what makes our PFDs unique. Salus is a small and growing team of passionate and driven individuals- that’s where you fit in!

We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated and organized person to join our production line in the stuffing and finishing goods area, as well as assist with general labour throughout the factory.

The position is full time, Monday-Friday and based in Waterloo, Ontario.

Salary: $15.50-$16.25 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift-  Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Inspect flotation devices for defects
  • Ensure proper foam amount and foam style is stuffed into PFDs
  • Add finishing details to products
  • Assist with putting away foam and materials from cutting stations
  • Notify cutting stations when certain types of foam is required
  • Keep work station organized and clean

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given
  • Meet deadlines, while providing exemplary detail to work
