We are currently recruiting for Medical Device Reprocessing Technicians!

Work Hours:

7.5 Hour Rotating Shifts

Days/Evenings/Weekends/On-Call

Wage/Salary & Benefits:

Full Time – pay range

Full Time Benefit – Health & Dental benefits (after 3 month waiting period), Pension enrollment, paid vacation time

Part Time – Pay range

Part Time Benefit – 14% in lieu of benefits, 4% in lieu of vacation pay

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will reprocess sterile and non-sterile supplies, equipment and services for the care and treatment of patients. The MDRD Technician will decontaminate, clean, assemble, package and process products for sterilization, as well as requisite recording and control supplies.  The incumbent will fill supply requisitions as required as well as other duties as assigned. Contribute to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors;

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Medical Device Reprocessing Techniques course is mandatory https://mdrao.ca/education/mdrao-mdr-techniques-online-course/
• Minimum one-year recent experience in Medical Device Reprocessing 
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
• Some medium demand lifting is required
• Must be able to read and write English
• Good attendance record
