Aevitas is currently looking for a DZ Driver - Vac Truck Operator at our Ayr, ON. This position will entail site service work at customer sites. Additionally, yard work might be required using a Roll-Off truck and occasionally operating a straight truck.

Work Hours:

• Approximate start time 5:30am-6:30am
• Approximately 10 hours per day
• Occasional multi-day or week long trips would be required

Wage/Salary:

• $25.00-$26.00 per hour to start
• Overtime rates paid after 44 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials
• Drive unit to and from multiple client sites
• Adhere to vehicle weight limits and ensure proper utilization of Aevitas equipment
• Responsible for the proper placarding of vehicles to meet TDGA requirements/regulations
• Responsible for maintaining daily logs, daily vehicle inspections, trip reports, and expense reports
• Comply with Aevitas policies & procedures, Health & Safety procedures
• Maintain and clean assigned Aevitas equipment as well as ensure equipment is mechanically sound and in good working order at all times

Qualifications:

• DZ license
• Minimum 3 years’ experience driving experience (Willingness to be trained on Roll-Off equipment)
• Regulatory safety tickets are considered an asset (ie. confined spaces, heavy equipment, forklift)
• Must be able to obtain a security clearance
• Ability to work occasional multi-day or week long trips
