Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Manager, the Sales Coordinator will assist in establishing a sales plan, actively pursue new sales opportunities and manage new and existing customer accounts while ensuring a smooth sales process. The Sales Coordinator will rely on their experience and judgment to plan and accomplish sales targets and objectives while delivering the Eclipse Vision and the Eclipse Entrepreneurial Culture. Please note this position will be for a 14 month contract.


  • Act as the customer point of contact when receiving product order requests
  • Regularly monitor the company website, sales and customer service emails for product order requests and inquiries
  • Communicate with prospects and customers to understand their requirements and timelines, identifying sales opportunities
  • Utilize the ERP system to generate and issue accurate product sales quotations
  • Liaise with the Production Planner to analyze customer requirements, ensuring material and production capacity is forecasted and represented in the ERP master schedule
  • Utilize the ERP system CRM function to manage current and potential customers
  • Follow-up quotations to close sales and achieve sales targets
  • Solicit customer feedback to ensure all requirements have been met and promote future repeat orders
  • Compile various reports for internal and external use
  • Maintain regular contact with key accounts to ensure customer success and promoting positive long-term relationships.
  • Research and qualify new leads and opportunities
  • Monitor tendering websites for RFPs
  • Support and assist with business development activities as needed
  • Handle urgent call, emails and messages, informing customers of unforeseen delays or problems
  • Act as the customer point of contact for potential product recalls and initiate the internal recall process with the necessary departments
  • Work with marketing to monitor social media platforms



  • Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in any related discipline or equivalent work experience


  • 3+ years sales experience, preferably in the contract manufacturing industry. 
  • Strong technical product sales background and experience in contract manufacturing is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office based software
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to deal professionally and courteously with internal and external clients
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively when required
  • Strong presentation skills.
