Position Summary

Iron Will Raw strives to build a corporate culture where all members of our team know and feel valued. When the right people are in the right seat and given the right tools – success in inevitable. As a Production supervisor you will be a key contributor to this message. Your previous experience in a food processing facility will allow you to understand and enforce our food safety HACCP plans including daily verification and record checklists, GMPs, sanitation and SOP protocol. As an organized forward thinker with exemplary time management skills, you will be able to monitor and improve current production KPIs while motivating employees to increase productivity and maintain the corporate culture. You are not satisfied with simply meeting deadlines and quotas but rather, continuously search out way to exceed and improve daily production functions for the success of the employee team and the company. You are mechanically inclined and have familiarity with meat processing and packaging machinery which allows you to trouble shoot day-to-day operations while on the production line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily production flow and efficiency.
  • Work closely with senior management, review and prioritize work orders to best support operational efficiencies and production schedule planning.
  • Responsible for productivity, adhering to the production schedule and motivating and monitoring production employees to meet and exceed efficiencies.
  • Manage employees to ensure daily tasks are completed in safe and efficient manner, ensuring accurate inventory reporting.
  • Create daily production set up and weekly production program execution.
  • Assist with development and execution of continuous improvement activities; identify possible cost reduction and efficiency opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain a culture of safety, ensuring all regulations are followed.
  • Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and accurately follow procedures.
  • Perform related administrative duties.


  • Minimum five (5) years’ supervisory experience, preferably progressive experience in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in an HACCP/SQF Certified food manufacturing environment, required.

Key Candidate Competencies

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of HACCP/SQF Certification and Lean/Six Sigma processes and requirements.
  • Ability to lead, manage, motivate, and evaluate the production team in a manner that upholds quality and safety standards while continually encouraging innovative efficiency improvements.
  • Intermediate knowledge of food processing equipment and inventory management.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multitask while simultaneously motivating and driving others to perform at an optimal level.
  • Strong understanding of sanitation, food handling, and food safety practices in a manufacturing environment preferred.

COVID-19 Considerations

Daily pre-shift COVID screening questionnaire and temperature checks for all employees and site visitors. Face mask required in building and at all times. Strict sanitation protocol for all workspaces.
