 You will learn to provide great client care including:

  • Helping clients maintain independence in their home by supporting their personal and emotional wellbeing. 
  • Providing compassionate personal care including skin care, hair care, mouth care, bathing, toileting
  • Helping clients with comfortable positioning, lifts, transfers, and light exercising like assisted walking
  • Leading caring and meaningful conversations and activities focus on the client emotional health and happiness.
  • General household management - light housekeeping duties and meal planning/preparation
  • Always use the most up to date Infection Prevention and Control Practice (IPAC) and protective equipment to keep you and your client safe.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a high School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license class G or G2 with a reliable vehicle and live in the community that you are applying for
