Full-time Material Cutter

at Salus Marine/ Barbarian Sportswear in Kitchener and Waterloo locations

Fabric and Materials Cutter

Salus Marine Wear and Barbarian Sports Wear are Canadian manufacturers in the sporting goods industry. We are currently seeking full time Material Cutter to join our growing teams in Either our Waterloo or Kitchener location!

Hours: Days / Monday-Friday

Wage: determined based on experience. 

Essential Qualifications Include:

  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Pre-inspect textile for defects prior to cutting
  • Ability to place patterns on top of layers of fabric to cut fabric following patterns, using electric cutters safely at required productivity rates
  • Adjust cutting techniques to types of fabrics and styles of garments
  • Inspect machinery to keep up maintenance and repairs
  • Meet deadlines, while providing exemplary detail to work
  • Excellent attendance

Experience is an asset but we are willing to train the right person.

Waterloo Location: Salus Marine Wear, 660 Superior Drive, Waterloo, ON

Kitchener Location: Barbarian Sports Wear, 575 Trillium Drive, Kitchener, ON
