Full-time Material Handler

at Vinyl Trends in Cambridge

Welcome to Vinyl Trends!

We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated and professional Material Handler to join our team. The successful candidate will be hardworking, able to complete tasks successfully with little supervision. You will be responsible for all shipments including our growing e-commerce business as well as international shipping from Asia, Australia and in and out of the US. In addition to having excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will need to be highly organized and detail orientated to ensure documents and inventory are accurate as well as maintaining an efficient and orderly warehouse. A current forklift license is required.


Your Work Matters

Vinyl Trends products are sold in stores all over North America. Therefore, as a Warehouse Shipper-Receiver you are the last one to ensure that our customers will be receiving high quality products that are prepped for shipping in a professional manner and will look amazing in retail stores.

Hours- 7am-3pm Monday to Friday

Wage- $20.00


Core Job Responsibilities

1. Accurately prepare shipping paperwork, including all customs documents, in a timely manner

2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records

3. Proficiency with Microsoft and Google Docs

4. Operation of a forklift, forklift license is required

5. Scheduling shipments, load, and unload trucks

6. Pick orders, including e-commerce, follow inspection procedures

7. Palletize shipments using pallet-wrapping machinery

8. Ensure shipped products are of the highest quality

9. Maintain clean, safe, efficient, and well-organized work areas and warehouse environment

10. Operation of production and packaging line machines as necessary

11. Building finished pallets in accordance with the Recipe Book's instructions

12. Staging production areas. This includes master roll preparation, helping with roll changes, and getting supplies ready for production (i.e., film, labels, tape, release liner, etc.)

13. Learning quickly and coming up with more efficient ways to complete work

1. Being flexible in your work duties and taking initiative

2. Following your supervisor’s instructions

3. Communicating and getting along well with others within a team-based environment

4. Following all Company Policies, Procedures and Safety Rules

5. Being on your feet for long periods of time

6. Lifting up to 50 lbs (occasionally throughout a workday)

7. Lifting materials and holding materials above your head



In addition to on site training, you are expected to become familiar with all company policies and

procedures. These include:

• Occupational Health & Safety Manual

• Employee Handbook

• Other supporting documents formally delivered and/or posted
