Global Pet Foods is looking to hire 2-3 candidates for each of their 3 locations (1 in Kitchener, 2 in Waterloo)

• 669 Belmont Ave W, Kitchener ON N2M 1N8

• 450 Columbia St W, Waterloo ON N2T

• 14-425 University Ave E, Waterloo ON N2K 4C9

Rate of Pay: $14.00 per hour

Hours of Work:  Minimum 25 hours/week with potential to lead to Full-Time

Shifts: Days/Nights/Weekend

Qualifications:

• Must enjoy working with animals
• Have no known allergies to pets or pet food
• Possess good customer service skills
• Previous experience in retail sales and working with animals an asset
• Reliable and dependable
• Flexible – be available for days/evenings/weekends
• Ability to stand for extended period
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to lift up to 40kgs

Duties

• Welcome customers by greeting them in friendly, professional manner
• Help customers make selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions
• Process payments by totaling purchases; processing cash, debit, and credit cards
• Assist with carry-outs for customers
• Set-up displays of merchandise in windows or display areas
• Keep store neat & tidy
• Stock shelves with merchandise and assist with maintaining inventory
• Contributes to team effort with other duties as required
• Must have full availability to work all shifts (Days/Nights/Weekend)
